The American golfer arrived with two blows below the leader David Perkins to the last two holes in the field. He took advantage of Perkins’ bad closure to overcome and achieve his first victory in the PGA Tour Américas.
Wolcott won with a score of -19 with 269 strokes (64 goals in the first round, 7 in Round 2, 66 in Round 3 and closed with 69 goals in the fourth round).
In addition to a great closure, Hunter was able to recover from an initial sanction on Friday, when he received a sanction blow for slow game, since he delayed more than the 40 seconds allowed in Hole 7.
“I am very grateful to have been able to turn the page and turn that energy into a concentration, without letting it stay in my mind,” said the golfer.
With this victory, Wolcott went to the fourth place of the Fortinet Cup and secured its presence throughout the PGA Tour Américas circuit for the rest of the season and the Latin American part of 2026.
In second place David Perkins ended with -17, followed by a triple draw in third place with -16 for John Marshall, Brett White and Taylor Funk.

The closure was not expected for Julián Perico and the Peruvian ended in 22 position after starting the last round in 10th position. With a score of -9 he matched the position with Mexican Rodolfo Hunting.

The best Latin American was the Argentine Marcos Montenegro, who with -11 was in 14th position.
