The National Council of Science, Technology and Innovation (CONCYTEC) and the France Embassy in Peru have opened two international competitions to finance scientific research and academic mobility projects. Through the initiatives “Mobilizations with echoes Nord Peru – France 2025” y “Mobilization for Amsud 2025” Research “Peruvian research groups have the opportunity to access funds to carry out internships in other countries, as well as to develop joint projects with French and South American institutions.

The contest ECOS NORD 2025 MOBILIZATION aims to promote scientific and academic cooperation between Peru y Francesupporting projects Research, Technological development and Innovation (R&D). This program is aimed at universities research groups, research centers, public institutes and other agencies with projects oriented to priority areas of science.
This contest will finance up to five projects, each with a subsidy of up to USD 15,000. The amount will be distributed for a maximum period of three years. The selected groups may carry out training and exchange stays between Peruvian and French researchers, mainly aimed at Teachers, doctoral students and consolidated researchers.
Among the priority areas that are contemplated in this contest are:
- Life and biotechnology sciences
- SCIENCE AND MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs)
- Environmental Sciences and Technologies
- Basic Sciences
- Human, social and economic sciences
