The people affected by this incident indicated that emergency services did not yet arrive shortly before 8:00 p.m.
In the viral video, it could be seen that some people were trying to contribute to quelling the fire with hoses from their homes – or preventing the flames from expanding more.

A grassizal fire that affects the area of the Bonfil Boulevard – Old Barin Acapulcohas been contained in 70%, local authorities reported.
