Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA – The main cause of Gene Hackman was a heart disease, but was also in an advanced stage of Alzheimer’s disease and had probably not eaten for a long time, according to a new autopsy report.
The report documents the poor cardiac health of the 95 -year -old actor, noting that he had experienced congestive heart failure, a replacement for the aortic valve and an irregular heart rate. A pacemaker was placed in April 2019.
The concentration of carbon monoxide in Hackman was less than 5% saturation, which is within the normal range. He gave negative for Hantavirus, which is a rare disease, but potentially fatal propagated by infected rodent droppings, for which his wife Betsy Arakawa probably died.
The authorities have said that Arakawa would have died on February 11 in the same house by pulmonary syndrome by Hantavirus. The autopsy report has not yet been published.
A toxicological report indicates that Hackman gave negative for alcohol and intoxicating drugs, but that he had a low acetone concentration in his system, which indicates prolonged fasting.
Hackman seems to have survived Arakawa at home for approximately a week, possibly without knowing about the death of his wife. Hackman’s pacemaker showed an abnormal heart rate on February 18, the day he probably died, according to the head of Forensic Medicine of the State.
Records previously published in the investigation showed that Arakawa made telephone calls and internet searches while looking for information on symptoms similar to flu and breathing techniques.
Recently published videos delineate the scope of research on deaths of Hackman and Arakawa.
Before understanding how Hackman and Arakawa died, the authorities recorded themselves conducting interviews with workers and returning to Hackman’s house to seek more evidence. The detectives registered the house in early March in search of the arakawa laptop and other tracks.
