Estelle Wignalla 27 -year -old British young woman died after trying to cope with a diagnosis of ovarian cancer which was initially confused with colon irritable. Its history has moved the United Kingdom and has lit alarms about the importance of detecting this disease in time, especially in young women.
It all started when Estelle, originally from Wigan, Englandhe went to the hospital with symptoms of abdominal swelling and fatigue. At that time, doctors diagnosed him irritable colon syndromea common digestive condition. However, she suspected that something more serious happened with her health.

Three months later, a medical exam confirmed the worst: he had a Size tumor in his ovary. It was urgently operated to remove the tumor, the right ovary and the fallopian tubes. Despite the treatment, the disease returned strongly in Stage 4compromising its liver, lungs and intestine.
In 2020, after becoming the mother of her daughter Brooke, Estelle received the devastating diagnosis of metastasis. “I just wanted to enjoy my motherhood … I felt they were discarding me, but I wasn’t ready to give up,” he said. It was subjected to multiple surgeries, including a mastectomy and the extraction of a lung.

Before death, Estelle recorded an original song entitled “I Never Lost Anything”which was released posthumously on Mother’s Day in England, the March 30. His mother, Bev Turley, shared that listening to the song was like “Receive a gift from heaven”. The solo profits will be donated to organizations against ovarian cancer.
Estelle dedicated his last years to raising awareness about this disease, even rapting his hair to donate wigs to cancer and collecting funds for treatments abroad.
The young woman died March 30, 2022leaving behind her husband Mike, with whom she married in 2019 in Texas, her daughter Brooke and a community deeply moved by her courage.
