A traffic accident recorded on the morning of this Saturday, May 3 left a balance of at least 21 injured, after the collision between an excursion bus and a gandola on the Cagua-La Villa National Highway, Aragua state. The incident occurred in front of the super leader commercial establishment, in the Cagua parish of the Sucre municipality, around 6:30 am
The bus, which moved to a group of hikers from San Juan de los Morros, hit a heavy load unit, generating an emergency that mobilized officials of the Aragua State Police assigned to the Antonio José de Sucre police station, civil protection and health personnel in the area.
Among the injured are people between 18 and 37 years of age, and both men and women with injuries of different consideration are reported.
The injured were transferred to the José María Vargas hospital. They are not reported dead so far, and the authorities remain investigating the causes of the incident.
