In this event, which is one of the most relevant events in the editorial and literary panorama of America, the National Library of Colombia and Micasa, Editorial Seal of the Minculturas, will rescue The work of women in the literature and intellectual production of the country.
“The library of Colombian writers will be our narrative thread in Monterrey. We are excited to present this collection to Latin America because it brings together 97 authors, From the seventeenth century until today, some of them unpublished. A stand of 200 square meters will be the showcase of a varied sample that will also allow the best of the cumbia, the central theme of the fair this year. In this space, authors such as Efén Giraldo, Laura Ortiz Gómez, Jairo Buitrago, Romulo Bustos, Pilar Quintana, Jaime Andrés Monsalve, Laura Guarisco and Giuseppe Caputo They will meet to talk about their works, experience and about Colombia’s contribution to the literary world.
Likewise, during the days of the fair, meetings dedicated to reflecting on the new Latin American literature will be held, as well as on the relationship between literature and journalism, theater and cinema. A congress of children’s and youth literature, poetry, science fiction and terror meetings will also be held.
