The French Organization of ESports, Team Vitality, continued its dominance in the Counter-Strike 2 scene by winning the last Blast Rivals tournament. The team defeated the Saudi Team Falcons organization in the grand final once again, a week after the squad defeated the same team in the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Melbourne.
The victory of Team Vitality is the fifth consecutive tournament that the organization wins, after the IEM Katowice, the ESL Pro League Season 21, the Blast Open Rivals and the IEM Melbourne. With the last blast trophy, Team Vitality also chains an incredible streak of 25 consecutive victories, the second longest in the history of CS2.
The team also took $ 125,000 home in prizes and two Frequent Flyers Program (FFP) files, the Revenue Distribution Program created by Blast, which has an extra combined award of $ 2m distributed among the equipment. Vitality now leads the classification with six points, followed by Team Spirit with four.
According to the ESports Charts data company, the Grand Final match was followed by more than 1m of spectators, which makes it the second most watched Blast event, behind the Blast Paris Major (1,528,724).
