Kansas City, Missouri (AP)-Bobby Witt Jr. scored the first race and boosted the second to support five dominant entries and 11 colches of schools, while the Kansas City Royals remained on a streak with a 3-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Monday night.
The Royals (20-16) won the first game of a series of four to start a stay of seven games at home. They have won three in a row and 11 of the last 13.
Witt, who received a ball base and stole a base before being stranded in the first entrance, began the fourth with a single. He stole his eleventh base, advanced to Third with an uncontrolled launch of the rookie Shane Smith and scored with a single from the Venezuelan Maikel García with an out.
Kyle Isbel and Jonathan India arrived based with singles with an out and Witt shot a double to put the 2-0 board in the fifth entrance.
Ragans (2-1), who lost an opening due to a slight distension in the groin, arrived with an average of 13.5 strikeouts per nine tickets, the best of the major. The left -hander allowed three unstoppables and gave two bases per ball in his fourth departure with 10 or more strikeouts this season and his ninth in 60 openings in his career.
-Four relievers completed a six -hits game. The Dominican Carlos Estévez launched a ninth entry of a hit for his tenth rescue.
Smith (1-2) allowed two races and five hits in five innings.
For the White Sox, the Venezuelan Lenyn Sosa of 4-1 and the Cuban Miguel Vargas 4-1.
For the Royals, Venezuelans Maikel García hit 2-1 with a scored race and a driven.
