The third week of May will mark the official presentation of Where will girls play? A book of chronicles that brings together the texts of five authors: María Montero, Laura Flores, Carla Pravisani, Karla sterloff y Camila Schumacher. The publication, which will be priced from ¢13.000, has a prologue written by Karina Salguero.
This new editorial project seeks to make women’s contributions to the construction of the chronicle.

“At seven years, I wanted to be a writer. Not writer,” because as Olga says Tokarczuk – were two very different things. I am sure that this statement does not require explanation for the writers or readers of this book; Hopefully to readers either.
In my childhood (I was born in 1970), a story was: something happens to a male, so it is thrown into the adventure, pound a deed and, in reward, wait for him, there in his town, a pretty woman.
The stories narrated a call to duty, a battle, an iliad or, at least an odyssey. Penelope, of having sat to write his wait, what would he have written? A chronicle.
Time moves the chronicle. He is the least virile of the genres – if one can still talk about genres so lightly. In the chronicle, the less I pass, the better. What counts is the look.
