For five days the Alavés tour will quote many of the best golfers on the national scene in the senior category. In doubles, Larrabea’s facilities will bring together a total of 60 couples and 36 holes ‘Stroke Play Scratch’ will be played in two consecutive days. The first day will play 18 holes under the ‘best ball’ modality, while in the second they will be the remaining 18 under the ‘Greensome’ modality.
In the individual, on the other hand, the players will be raised at 120, and will develop to 54 holes through the ‘Stroke Play Scratch’ system (game for blows) during the three planned days. After the second round, a cut will be made, in which the first 60s more classified by the tied in 60s will pass.
Golfers to highlight
The main attraction in this year’s edition will be the presence of Malaga Jacobo Cestino, who will try to take the tournament for the fifth time. Jorge García or Ramón Luengo will be other players to follow, in an event in which three Alava golfers will take part and in which the greatest number of participants will come from the Community of Madrid, Euskadi, Andalusia and Catalonia, respectively. «It will be a very close championship in which we will be able to see the best of the national panorama.
