With more than 50 cultural exhibitors, writers, music, presentations, workshops and there will be more than 30 activities, the first book Fair will be held in the municipality of Ecatepec from May 7 to 11 with the aim of promoting reading among the inhabitants of this town.
At a press conference, the municipal president Azucena Cisneros Coss announced that this May 7 will begin the Book Fair which will be installed in the municipal esplanade located in the center of this town.
During these five days there will be presentations, music, readings, presentation of books, eight -writing workshops among which Irina Flores, 13 years old, originally from Ecatepec, who will present their first work.
He said that one of the great speakers will be Paco Ignacio Taibo II, as well as Emiliano Ruiz, Ricardo Raphael, Ángel Banderas, Bernando Barranco, Irina Infante, Horacio Franco, Luis Navarrete to mention some.
He pointed out that he will pay more attention to placing more books in the hands of girls, boys and young people who find it expensive to access entertainment, in addition to the objective of promoting reading.
He also considered as much as possible the culture to social spaces to create a route that changes lives.
