During a meeting with athletes, coaches, sports leaders and more than 42 clubs, the candidate for the Governance of the Aragua State for the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), Joana Sánchez, highlighted the importance of sport as a central axis of her government plan, with the aim of repositioning the entity as a sporting power.
During the meeting, Sanchez urged club presidents to organize and present projects that benefit the community. “It is essential to attend and solve each of the cases in an effectively and in the shortest possible time,” he said.
The candidate also promised to address the needs expressed by the leaders present. This includes infrastructure rehabilitation, the development of training plans, the incorporation of new coaches, as well as the provision of scholarships, transport and physical and mental health care.
«What really relates us is a government with people, people and people. That is what we have been doing in the sports sector for a long time. So today, Aragonese athlete, I invite you to be betting on May 25 for the proposal of Aragüeñidad, which undoubtedly has great potential, ”said Sánchez.
He also highlighted the participation of several local sports leaders, who had the opportunity to express their concerns. Among them were the president of the Kenpo association, Erika Rojas; the president of the Aquatic Sports Association, José Zacarías; the president of the Karate-Do Association, José Di Nino; the president of the Athletics Association, Russel Blanco; Jesus thrown, athlete with motor disabilities; and Genesis loyal, national absolute champion in paranatation.
