The registered runners are refining their training to face the challenges of their respective distances. Planning, nutrition and rest are key in these weeks before the event.
In addition, the organization has confirmed that, for the second consecutive year, the Santiago marathon will be a neutral carbon race, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and care of the environment. Through compensation initiatives and reforestation projects, it seeks to minimize the environmental impact of the event.
The Running Expo is the event prior to the marathon where runners must withdraw their competition kit and can enjoy various activities related to running.
-As part of the post-carrier activities, the “Medal Week” will be carried out again, an initiative that will reward Finishers with exclusive benefits. During the week after marathon, runners who present their Finisher Medal will be able to access discounts and promotions in more than 30 associated shops, including renowned food and services brands.
This proposal seeks to recognize the efforts of the participants and promote the connection between the sports community and local trade.
