- The new tower, built in record time, is strategically located a few minutes from the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport and the main corporate axis of the city of Asunción – Paraguay.
“With the inauguration of its new tower, the Great Bourbon Hotel Asunción is consolidated as the largest hotel and conventions center in the Republic of Paraguay,” Alejandro Domínguez, president of Conmebol, began, during the opening ceremony held this Friday, May 9.
“This new tower not only reinforces the hotel infrastructure, but also represents a concrete investment in the growth of Paraguay and all of South America. We will continue to invest, we will continue to transform the football of our continent so that they recognize us in the world, not only for sports achievements, but also for logistics and infrastructure,” President Domínguez said.
The event was also attended by the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, and the president of the Bourbon hotel chain, Alceu A. Vezozzo Filho, who praised the strategic vision of the president of Conmebol.
“We deeply value the commitment of President Alejandro Domínguez, whose vision was key for Paraguay to host this FIFA Congress and for the development of projects that benefit the entire economic ecosystem,” Expresso Timeozzo Filho.
Río Hotel By Bourbon is the result of an alliance between Conmebol and the Bourbon Chain Hospitality, with an investment of USD 8,000,000 aimed at providing Paraguay with a first level infrastructure for the organization of large -scale international events. This initiative positions the Paraguayan capital as a strategic hub for football, tourism and businesses in South America.
-Located a few minutes from the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport and the Corporate Axis of Asunción, the Tower incorporates 80 ROOMS SELECT category of 33 m², restaurant, event hall for 130 people and services oriented to accessibility, such as signaling in Braille system.
The new structure is integrated into the Gran Bourbon complex Asunción, which already had modern facilities and the Conmebol Convention Center. This center, key to the realization of social, corporate and sports events, was also expanded and now reaches 4,200 m² of surface.
In terms of economic impact, construction mobilized more than 250 companies and contractors, generating more than 2,000 direct and indirect jobs. The tower is already operational and ready to receive outstanding personalities and delegations of world football during the next few days.
With more than 60 years of hospitality, the Bourbon chain operates in Paraguay since 2011, reaffirming its commitment to excellence, regional development and international projection of Paraguay.
