Trump designates Casey Means, a “well -being” influencer and Kennedy Jr.’s ally, as general director of Public Health at the United States.

President Trump has appointed the “Welfare” Casey Means influencer as general Director of Public Health of the United States, after having retired the nomination of Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, who is a collaborator of the Fox news news channel. Casey Means attended the Stanford University Faculty, but never obtained the medical license, instead, resorted to the field of “well -being”, where it has promoted controversial statements on health and nutrition, and has sold supplements and personal care products through its website. His brother is an advisor to the Secretary of Health of the United States, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as well as Kennedy Jr., Casey Means has expressed his skepticism about vaccines. Means has also criticized hormonal contraceptives and their effects on women’s body, and has described their use as “lack of respect for life.” This is an argument that several extreme right critics use to discredit contraceptive methods whose efficacy has been demonstrated.
