Ricardo Reyes Monzalvo, former C5I general coordinator of the Ministry of Public Security of Hidalgo in the Sixenio of Omar Fayad Meneses, He was transferred to the General Hospital of Pachuca after being seriously injured in a traffic accident recorded on Thursday afternoon May 8.
The events occurred around 2:30 p.m. on the Mexico-Pachuca highway, at the height of the Matilde pedestrian bridge (Agrarian Reforma Street), in the limits of Pachuca and Zempoala. According to official reports, during a surveillance route, police officers located a black Honda motorcycle, with 13nds8 circulation plates of the state of Hidalgo, and its driver, identified as Ricardo Reyes Monzalvo, 61, injured on the asphalt.
Witnesses reported that The accident was allegedly caused by a white Ford Ka vehicle, whose driver fled after impact. The place was attended by H. Fire Department, who provided first aid and transferred to Reyes Monzalvo to the hospital.
The corresponding authorities prepared the incident report and remain in search of the vehicle involved. Meanwhile, the former official was diagnosed with head trauma and right clavicle fracture.
Reyes Monzalvo was appointed as the general coordinator of the Control, Command, Communications, Computing, Coordination and Intelligence (C5I) Center of Hidalgo in June 2020, during the Omar Fayad government. Previously, he held positions such as Undersecretary of Public Security, General Director of Ministerial Police, Director of Expert Services and Agent of the Public Ministry.
