The Chilean acting world is vast and diverse. From the theater or TV, the actors have become recognizable figures for much of the Chileans, becoming some not only into recurring figures of the national event, but also names appreciated by the public.
For this reason, the recent study 5c of the company Catem tried to solve the big question in early May: “Which would you say that he is the best actor in Chile’s history?”
The universe to consult was of men and women of 18 years or more, of all socioeconomic levels and all the regions of the country. The sample considered 700 cases. Error margin ± 3.4 percentage points at 95% confidence.
The best actor in Chile
And what were the results of the study? The respondents positioned Héctor Noguera as “the best actor in the history of Chile.”

The 87 -year -old theater director was located at the top of the list, With 24% of preferences.
Below, actor Alfredo Castro was second with 10% positive opinions, followed by Álvaro Rudolphy who threw 9%.
Francisco Reyes, Francisco Melo and Jorge Zabaleta, among others, continued in the count. In the last position was Luis Gnecco, being mentioned with 2%.
