Tandil Golf Club Valley begins the redesign of its court to become one of the best in South America

The Tandil Golf Club valley begins a transformation process that seeks to consolidate Tandil as a national and international golf destination, at the beginning of the redesign works of its court.

The transformation seeks to raise the experience of play, attract top -level tournaments and enhance the development of the neighborhood and its community.

The project has the address of Frankie Bungerecognized builder and designer of golf course with international experience. It is accompanied by a team of excellence that includes the legendary golfer Vicente “Chino” Fernándezto the international referee Ariel Rodríguezand the head pro of El Valle, Ignacio Verellén.

With an estimated duration of 24 months, the works began last Monday, May 5 in holes 10 to 18. The first stage will conserve playable holes 1 to 9, allowing to continue the practice of sport during the process.

The redesign includes:

• More fluid and strategic route, 100% walkable.
• Latest generation Greens (with Agrostis 007) built under USGA standards.
• New bunkers and practice areas (driving, chipping, putting).
• Land recovery to be destined for Vivero Golf.
• Landscape interventions that embellish the environment and reduce maintenance costs.
• Incorporation of S practicesOstenables and environmental respect

“The new design proposes a more fluid route, 100% walkable, accessible for players of all levels and with unique panoramic views. We want each player to live an unforgettable experience, on a strategic, modern court and in harmony with their natural environment,” said Pedro Málaga, club manager.

In addition to hierarchizing the court, the plan includes improvements in practice areas such as driving, chipping and putting Green and the development of an academy with a plan for the next 3 to 5 years.

With this redesign, the Valle de Tandil Golf Club seeks to contribute to development for the community and local tourism, promoting sport, economic activity and the positioning of Tandil as a city chosen by its quality of life and its differential proposal.
