Vox wants the flag of Spain to flure in all public buildings in Teruel

Vox Teruel will defend an initiative in the Plenary next Monday so that the flag of Spain flies in all public buildings of the city, also on the campus of the University of Zaragoza and the IES Santa Emenciana, places where he currently does not.

Vox spokeswoman Elena Fernández, said that the flag of Spain is not seen in some buildings such as those mentioned, something that “does not comply” Law 39/1981, of October 28, which regulates the use of the flag of Spain and that of other flags and teachings.

Fernández has argued that in articles 3, 4 and 5 of the aforementioned law it is indicated that the flag of Spain must be placed in preferential position abroad all the buildings and establishments of each of the public administrations.

The Vox spokeswoman considers that precisely in those facilities in which the public education service is provided, “the symbols that represent us all,” he stressed in a release must be set.

Fernández recalled that, according to a repeated jurisprudence of the Third Chamber of the Supreme Court, the law imperatively requires that the flag of Spain is located in preferential and outstanding place abroad of every public building permanently.

The ultra -rightist has specified that on the Campus of the University of Zaragoza and the IES Santa Emenciana the flag of Spain was visible but did not wave, which is why these two buildings also appear mentioned in the text of the proposition.
