Alicante Alicante’s museums and cultural spaces have scheduled 80 activities to celebrate International Museum day (DIM). The day was established on May 18 at the proposal of the International Council of Museums and in the city the program extends from May 14 to 18. This year the motto is The future of museums in communities constantly changingfocusing on how museums can navigate and contribute to a world that experiences deep social, technological and environmental changes.
The City Council (Maca, Las Cigarreras and Musa), the Diputación de Alicante (Marq, Mubag and the Alicante Institute of Culture Juan Gil-Albert), The Ocean Race Museum, the Museum of the University of Alicante, the University Headquarters City of Alicante and the Aguas Museum of Alicante again to offer a careful program for all the audiences that last year congregated last year 10,492 people in different cultural spaces. The MUA focuses its celebration at the Dim party on Friday, May 16 in the afternoon (among 5:00 p.m.) that will culminate with a Horchata and Fartans craft snack. During the weekend, didactic workshops and guided tours of contemporary art exhibitions and archeology will occur. Saturday’s schedule will be 10 ha 20 Hy on Sunday 10 ha.

The Alicante Museum of Fine Arts proposes for May 17 and 18 activities for the whole family. MUSA

A baroque concert will be held in the castle cistern (free admission to complete the capacity of 90 people).
