Philadelphia (AP) – Josh Naylor hit a simple producer in the 10th. Tres Carreras in Arizona, and the Diamondbacks exceeded the Philadelphia Phillies 11-9 on Sunday to save the last game of their weekend series.
The Dominican Geraldo Perdomo and Corbin Carroll each promoted three races for Arizona, who led 7-2 after five tickets.
Naylor promoted the Venezuelan Eugenio Suárez with his roletazo to the left garden. Towa connected a high sacrifice against the Venezuelan José Alvarado (3-1), and Perdomo received a ball base that forced a race.
The Phillies recovered a race in the lower part of the 10th. With a high sacrifice of Max Kepler against Jalen Beeks. With an out and two corridors on base, Bryce Harper connected a raised to the center and Kyle Schwarber rolled to Primera.
Philadelphia was behind 8-6 before tracing in the ninth against Shelby Miller (3-0). Schwarber connected his eleventh homer after Miller punches the first two batters. Single consecutive Nick Castellanos, JT Realmuto and Alec Bohm produced the tie race.
Miller did not allow a clean race in his first 13 appearances of this season, covering 13 entries and two thirds.
Beeks got his first rescue of the season.
Harper connected a homer in the first entry for Philadelphia, and Weston Wilson hit a three -run home run in La Sexta. Schwarber extended his embasted streak to 40 games.
For the Diamondbacks, the Dominican Perdomo hit 5-4 with two races scored and three produced; the Venezuelan José Herrera, 4-2 with two scored and two driven, Suárez 5-0 with one scored; and the Cuban Lourdes Gurriel Jr. 3-0 with a scored.
For the Phillies, the Dominican Johan Rojas 3-1 with a produced; and the Panamanian Edmundo Sosa of 1-0 with two races scored.
