Washington (AP)-The Dominican José Tena connected a two-run double that put his team ahead during a seventh chaotic entrance, and the Washington Nationals recovered to beat the Cleveland Guardians 10-9 in the first game of a double billboard on Tuesday, after wasted a four-run advantage at the beginning of the episode.
James Wood connected his tenth home run of the season. The two-run hit put the 3-2 score in the first of two Washington comebacks.
The Nationals were ahead 6-2 in the seventh when the Dominican reliever José Ferrer allowed five of six batters to arrive based. The Dominican Jhonkensy Noel began the impulse of the Guardians with a double emerging that promoted a race. Cleveland moved 7-6 with a two-run single from the Venezuelan Gabriel Arias, and Dominican Ángel Martínez added a hit within the painting that promoted another race.
The Puerto Rican Jorge López (5-0) got two outs in the seventh and worked an eighth entrance without allowing careers. Kyle Finnegan allowed a high sacrifice to Arias in the ninth but closed the game for his twelfth rescue.
The Nationals of the Nationals, Jake Irvin, had problems with his control at the beginning but managed to complete five 1/3 entries, allowing two races with four hits and three bases per ball.
