The first concurrent multi -user frame based on Android ™ world redefines experience in the vehicle with a single operating system

LG Electronics (LG), technological leader in the Mobility Sector, and MediaTek, a world semiconductor company, present their concurrent multi -user frame (CMU) based on Android applied to the info -maintenance systems on board vehicles (IVI) in the International Exhibition of the Shanghai Shanghai Automobile Industry (Auto Shanghai 2025) influential from Asia, which takes place from April 23 to May 2.

The CMU frame is the first of its class that is implanted in the Android Automotive Os (AAOS) operating system of Google. The CMU frame transforms the experience on board creating personalized digital spaces for passengers. Each user can log in to their own screen, connect Bluetooth headphones or game controls, manage privacy settings and even share movies, games and audio on several screens. Parents can establish parental controls to guarantee a safe and appropriate experience to the age of children.

Original automotive equipment manufacturers also benefit, since the efficient architecture of the CMU frame admits sophisticated user experiences even on CPU of lower specifications, which reduces costs and demand for resources.

The CMU frame was introduced as a key characteristic of AAOS15. In addition to the basic functions of AAOS, LG offers exclusive functions such as independent compatibility with Bluetooth, text-to-speech, parental control and simple miral control through gestures.
