In the last hours it was known that justice set a bond to grant the new request to release from the defense of Miguel Báez, the only one arrested so far, charged with the crime of “cover -up” in the case in which the murder of the first corporal of the Missions Police, Leonardo Miñarro that occurred in Eldorado on December 30, in a fact that caused a great social shock, is investigated.
Báez remained behind bars because justice argued that there are evidence to “consider him author or participant of qualified homicide.”
Báez, Argentine, 34 years old and domiciled at kilometer 1 of Eldorado was arrested weeks ago and when giving the investigative statement he denied all the accusations he made against him an “undercover witness”. At the end of that procedural act, its official defender requested the release, which was first denied by the judge.
The only accused and arrested in the case was accused by the reserved identity witness of having offered him $ 15,000 “to reduce the infantry police.” Báez was housed at the First kilometer 9, this city.
In dialogue with the Pot Radio Stop page, the defender of Baez, Rodrigo Torres Murat spoke about it and clarified: “He was granted the release with a caution that must be covered but it is a great advance.”
“The Khinding is 3 million pesos but he is not in conditions because he is a person who comes from scarce family and will try to contribute what they can to see if they get to gather that amount,” he added.
And he explained: “If the accused cannot cover, it would have to be reduced. Cusion can be effective or some good, some salary guarantee of a person.”
The request for release was re -made: “Every time the order was presented, the foundation had to be changed. This time the time was being talked and the judge understood what he granted.”
And regarding Miguel, he said that “there is no evidence, I think it would have to be declared a lack of merit and that it is dismissed in the cause.”
