The Armed Forces of Ukraine have denounced on Friday the launch of 150 drones by the Russian army against several parts of the country and have assured that around 65 of the devices have been intercepted by their air defense systems.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated in a statement published in its account on the social network Facebook that a total of 64 drones have been destroyed, while another 62 “Drones lurus” have failed when “reaching their goals.”
“The enemy air attack was repelled by aviation, anti -aircraft missile units, electronic war teams and mobile fire groups,” he said, although he has confirmed impacts on the provinces of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Zaporiyia.
For its part, the Russian Defense Ministry has pointed out in a statement in its telegram account that the country’s air defense systems have intercepted more than 120 Ukrainian drones, including about 90 in the Crimean Peninsula, annexed in 2014.
In this way, he said that a total of 121 devices have been destroyed, including 89 in Crimea, 23 on the Black Sea, four in Krasnodar, two in Oriol and one in waters of the Azov, Briansk and Belgorod sea, respectively, without information about victims or material damage.
