Governor of Antioquia asks Petro for urgent military assistance for attacks on soldiers and police officers

This Monday, May 5, the governor of Antioquia, Andrés Julián Rendón asked President Gustavo Petro assistance to recent attacks against the public in the department. He also taught instructions and orders for the conservation and restoration of the public order in the Southwest, West, Bajo Cauca, Urabá and Northeast subregions.

“We invite mayors to take measures for the conservation and restoration of public order, with their territorial autonomy, in coordination with the military and police authorities with jurisdiction in their ,” he added.
