After having tightened the screw on the regularizations in January, the Minister LR of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, attacks naturalizations. His circular, of which Le Figaro Be aware, relates to the “Orientations relating to the acquisition of French nationality by decision of public authority”. A dense and directive text for regional and department prefects. It must be presented this Monday, May 5 on Monday, during a trip to the Val-de-Marne prefecture, in Créteil.
From the outset, Bruno Retailleau claims that “To be able to be welcomed in the French Community, the applicant must both demonstrate his assimilation to the French Community, and in particular his full membership in the essentials and essential values of the Republic, show behavior respectful of our laws, in particular those which govern the conditions of entry and stay of foreigners in France, and finally justify a lasting financial autonomy”.
