Rail traffic will remain disrupted on Tuesday, May 6, in Ile-de-France, due to a call to strike by SNCF agents launched by the CGT-Cheminots, according to SNCF travelers forecasts. The most disturbed lines will be the RER C with one in two train, as on the N and V lines of the Transilien, the suburban trains of the Paris region.
On the RER B, there will be one in two train on the northern part of the line, and two out of three on the southern part, operated by the RATP. On the RER D, there will be four out of five trains in circulation compared to usual. Two other Transilian lines will be disturbed: the U, with two out of three trains, and the H, with four out of five trains. On all other lines, traffic will be normal. All the main lines will run normally.

Several categories of staff were called upon to strike on Monday by the CGT-Cheminots and South Rail to claim an increase in remuneration and better anticipation of the schedules, too often modified at the last minute, according to them.
For the May 8 bridge, a collective influential of controllers called National ASCT collective (CNA) joined the call for mobilization, giving it a magnitude. SNCF Travelers is due to refine its forecasts for the bridge Tuesday morning.

On Monday, the main lines of the SNCF were spared while traffic was disturbed on certain lines of the Transilien and on certain Ile -de -France lines. In large Parisian stations, the display tables announced around 4 p.m. normal traffic for most trains. In Occitania, the TGV and intercités circulated without disruption at midday, and for the TERs were maintained “Eight out of ten circulation (…) with a combination of trains and bus ”according to SNCF travelers Occitanie. The traffic was however normal on the RER A, the busiest line on the network.
“We are far from a dark week, there will be no week at a stop, but a week as normal as possible”had declared during an interview at the agency France-Presse the CEO of SNCF Travelers, Christophe Fanichet. “Circulation will be normal from Monday 5 to Thursday 8 May on TGV”he said, and for May 9, 10 and 11, most trains will circulate.
