The province of Santa Fe It will make the envelopes of the public tender for the acquisition of a hydrant aircraft with the capacity to fight against forest fires. The project will be under the orbit of the Provincial Directorate of Mobility and Aeronautics, under the Ministry of Government and Public Innovation, with an investment of 5.5 billion Argentine pesos (approximately 4.7 million dollars).
As published by the Government of Santa Fe in the International Public Tender No. 38/25, offers will be received for the acquisition of a new aircraft, Low, hydrant and amphibious wing monomotor with pontoons equipped with landing train with wheels. The liquid loading capacity should not be less than 3,000 liters.
The province of Santa Fe is one of the most affected in forest fire season, mainly in the Paraná River Islands area, which hinders access via earth to igneous spotlights. In July 2020, the worst fire season was recorded, where the Argentine army collaborated with the forest squadrons making available a Bell UH1-1h helicopter.
The tender includes the purchase of the aircraft with their respective guarantees, twelve months for the aircraft and the propellers and 60 months for the engine. The supplier must necessarily have an authorized maintenance center within the national territory.
The Santa Fe Government establishes that within the value quoted by the aircraft, the training of five (5) contestants in training centers enabled for the operation and maintenance of the aircraft must be included, made up of: three (3) pilots – initial courses and two (2) mechanics – initial course.
The plane must be enrolled before the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) under LQ Domain, in the name of the Provincial State: “Ministry of Government and Public Innovation – Province of Santa Fe.”
Regarding the spare parts, the supplier must ensure by affidavit and the availability in the market of consumables and spare parts necessary for scheduled maintenance and those necessary to guarantee the continuous operation of the aircraft.
The hydrant of the province of Santa Fe will have its base at the Sauce Viejo International Airport, where the processes of acceptance of the same will arrive.
