Stuart Bloom had a particular growth along all the seasons of The Big Bang Theory, with a plot that seems to be completely exploited.
Throughout the 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory, many secondary characters have been presented that have accompanied the main ones, and very few of these characters ended up being fixed during the rest of the season.
Interestingly, one of these few characters who were born as secondary, but ended up as main, was Stuart Bloom, played by Kevin Sussman, that insecure owner of the comic store in which Sheldon and his friends visited regularly.
In places like Reddit, Stuart Bloom’s argument has been discussed during his appearance during the second season and until the end of the series.
First he was presented as a character that could be seen as a rivalry of Sheldon Cooper and company, but in the end he ended up fitting very well in the group.
“It is obvious that the screenwriters realized this and changed it to the Stuart that we know now. The error was Stuart of season 2, not from season 3 onwards. After all, this is a series of comedy.”
And it is that Stuart Bloom has suffered an evolution along the seasons of The Big Bang Theory That few viewers have understood, but that looking at him with retrospect now makes enough sense to the scriptwriters.
However, when the series concluded, perhaps Stuart Bloom still had much more to offer, and that is why the producers decided that this character was the protagonist of a futuristic spin off that we will see soon in Max.
