Melody and the rest of the Spanish Delegation of Eurovision have serious reasons to get confident in Basel (Switzerland), where the music festival will be held this year. One of the most prestigious surveys of the European music scene predicts that the representative of Spain will be among the top ten in Eurovision. Specifically, they give the eighth position with 136 points.
This estimate has little or nothing to do with the average of betting houses. Those who leave the money do not see Melody beyond a twenty one put on. In recent weeks, the interpreter of ‘ESE Diva’ has been climbing positions but still shyly to consider her a clear candidate for top-10. However, the perception between fans seems to be very different.
In the OGAE Poll the Eurofans vote in 43 countries and usually have good atino. The festival winner has been successful six times since their creation in 2007 and when they have failed, they have done so. With Spain they have also succeeded. They predicted the third position of Chanel although they overestimated Nebulsa and Blanca Paloma, to whom they made a hole among the top ten of the festival.
Where the votes of the Eurofans and the betting houses are coinciding in the Eurovision winner. Everyone points to Sweden as clear favorite, with Austria, giving the battle until the end.
