Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) troops, captured a subject in the Táchira state, after seizing more 342 thousand false dollars when he was held in a control post located in the city of Capaco, Independencia municipality.
According to the information they shared through social networks, the FANB uniformed, who fulfilled their duty in the PAC Capaco, retained a vehicle, where a man whose identity was not revealed, said he was traveling by taxi to another city of the entity.
The commission asked the suspect to get off the car with his belongings to be reviewed.
During the procedure, the Commission reviewed a black bag belonging to the retained citizen, where a total of $ 342,200 had inside.
Military officials interrogated the subject for money, where he apparently told them that it was their belonging.
However, to the surprise of the GNB officials, they detected that the American currency tickets were false, being sufficient reason to detain the citizen.
The GNB seized the amount of two hundred and seventy thousand (270,000) dollars of a hundred denomination (100); sixty thousand (60,000) in 50, twelve thousand (12,000) tickets in twenty (20) and two hundred (200) false dollars in 1 dollar bills.
The case was at the order of the Public Ministry of the State of Táchira.
