President Nicolás Maduro recalled on Saturday, May 3, the fifth anniversary of the defeat of the “Operation Gideon” by the Civic-Militar-Policial Union.
He stood out through a message on his Telegram channel, that the plan was “designed, prepared and financed from Colombia, and by the US government” that sought that with “mercenaries invading the coasts of Venezuela.”
“However, we prepare and activate the ‘Black Operation First crushing of the enemy’, and that was how our Fanb, the Bolivarian National Police, militiamen and militia, the humble and on foot people, we defeat the attempt to kill, attack public institutions and fill Venezuela with blood, and then justify a strange military intervention.”
The president stressed that “the Bolivarian fury of a people” knows how to face the challenges: “What enemies continue to underestimate us, we will remain standing, victorious and progress towards the great objectives of the homeland.”
