Officials of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), they killed two alleged criminals belonging to the dangerous criminal band of Félix Aragüita, during a confrontation that was recorded this Friday in the population of San Mateo, Bolívar municipality, Aragua state.
According to official sources, the event occurred at approximately 3:00 pm in wooded areas of the Pipe Alto broken sector and the deceased are still fully identifying.
It was known that the military troops made a security deployment in those mountainous areas of the Bolívar municipality, and when they reached an area known as the oil company, they spotted individuals with suspicious attitudes, who allegedly attacked the authorities with their weapons.
GNB officials took their regulatory armaments and exchanged shots with thugs, neutralizing two suspects.
The Military Commission transferred the wounded thugs to a closer health center, but died before their entry.
As evidenced in this procedure, they recovered a light automatic rifle firearm (FAL) caliber 7.62×51 mm and a Browenig brand gun, both weapons with the devastated serials.
They also seized the charger of the FAL and the gun, in addition to 16 7.62 and 9 millimeters caliber bullets.
It should be noted that it would be a man and a woman, who supposedly integrated the criminal band of alias “Félix Aragüita”, dedicating themselves to the crimes of extortion, kidnapping, theft of vehicles, scams, illicit traffic of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
The procedure was at the order of the Public Ministry.
