Six police officers were arrested for allegedly stopping and demanding the amount of 10,000 American dollars to a man identified as Luis Leonardo Mota Aguirre, who returned to Venezuela for more than two months, so that he was not killed in the population of Charallave, Cristóbal Rojas municipality of the Miranda state.
According to official sources, apprehended police officers were identified as Cliver José Heredia Herrera, Roddy Hernando Vásquez Jiménez, Jhon Keiver Castrillón Pérez, William Enrique Martínez Navas, César Augusto Goncalvez Carvallo and Nardy Jesús Bonaci Costul, as revealed by national media.
In this context, Mota Aguirre recorded a video on April 30 that was broadcast through social networks, where he recounts what he lived on April 4, starting when the officials of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Municipal Police of Cristóbal Rojas who were dressed as a civilian to carry out a review.
The victim explained that the three officials who retained him demanded the documentation to verify his data and if he was up to date with these vehicular procedures.
However, he revealed that one of the officials asked him to go until the Command of the Municipal Police of Cristóbal Rojas, an order that Mota Aguirre agreed.
«I told him why, if everything was in order, and he told me that it is for a verification of the Syipol. Without Temer I agreed to go to the command. The official was mounted in the vehicle where I moved and drew his weapon and forced me to give him my cell phone and the key, ”he added.

In the audiovisual, the victim reported that when they arrive at the command they take him to an office, revealing that there were officials Cliver José Heredia Herrera, Roddy Hernando Vásquez Jiménez and another police cash, where he was asked what he did.
«I told them that I had a month and a half of having arrived in the country. I had come for tiredness and wanted to be with my family, who is my sister, ”he said.
The nightmare of the man who spent six years abroad, continued to reveal that they left him locked in a room for a few minutes, then they took him again to the office where he was kept questioning.
«The official Bonaci (belonging to the Bolivarian National Police) was claiming that I was a criminal, who dedicated me to a sicariate network. I told him that it was totally a lie, because I was not that person they are looking for, to verify my ID in which I have no problem with justice, I had never had a police record and had never been imprisoned. But they told me that in the same way I had to pay them 10 thousand dollars for my life, because otherwise they were going to kill me, ”Mota Aguirre revealed in the video.
-Scared of the threat, he asked the officials why they did that, since he did not have that amount of money. “They said that I was a rat, that I had to pay that money because they were going to kill me, because nobody knew where I was,” he said.
The victim explained that the officials demanded that he make a call so that his sister’s husband arrived at the command. The brother -in -law Aguirre arrived at the police headquarters and allegedly spoke with the official Bonaci, asking what had happened. But the police officer allegedly replied that his relative was involved in drug crimes, reiterating that they had to give the police commission 10,000. “Which is a lie, they didn’t grab me with anything, I was totally clean,” he said.
The brother -in -law of Mota Aguirre went to look for the money, and while returning, the victim explained that the officials took him to a room where he had a banner that said Criminal Investigation Service (SIP) and a blue table, where several packages were allegedly, without specifying that if he had drugs.
«There were many wrappers. The official Vásquez took me a frontal photo and the back (back). He told me that if there was nothing he erased it, ”he said.
In addition, he added that he was forced under threat to record a video where he admitted that he was part of a criminal group.

Then, Mota Aguirre’s brother -in -law returned with 6,430 dollars of the savings he had collected during his six years of work abroad. However, this amount was insignificant for the police, who forced the victim to ask for more money from people outside the country, including their mother, who made two payment for Zelle for the accumulated amount of $ 1,570, gathering a total 8 thousand dollars for officials.
Mota Aguirre added that the officials were released, but had to pay 2 thousand dollars no later than April 11. «And if I did not make that payment, they were going to kill me. And if I made a type of complaint they were going to kill me in the same way, because they were not afraid of justice, much less a prosecutor, ”he said.
However, Mota Aguirre denounced what happened on April 7 at the 25th Prosecutor’s Office of the Miranda State Public Ministry, located in the city of Los Teques.
With these evidences collected, the authorities proceeded to arrest the six officials, where they are expected to be presented before the judicial courts.
