The Defense Forces of Israel (FDI) have confirmed in the early hours of this Sunday the death “in combat” of two of its soldiers, a captain and a sergeant, in the south of the Gaza Strip, where another of its troops has been seriously injured.
The deceased have been identified as Captain Noam Ravid and Sergeant Yaly Seror, 23 and 20 years respectively, both members of the Yahalam Combat Engineering Corps.
In addition to these three victims, the Israeli army has reported that a fourth soldier-a reservist of the Jerusalem Brigade-has also been injured, also with a serious prognosis, in a confrontation in the north of the Palestinian enclave.
“The combatants were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital and their families were notified,” the IDFs added in a brief statement published in their account in the social network X.
This news comes after the Israeli armed forces themselves revealed on Saturday the referral tens of thousands of rings to rows to reserve to significantly increase their offensive in the Gaza Strip.
