In the vicinity of the El Campín stadium, a new episode of violence occurred between soccer fans, this time it occurred in the run-up to the classic between Millonarios and Santa Fe held on Saturday, March 27.

In the run-up to the classic 315 that took place between Millonarios and Santa Fe, a group of young people wearing clothing from both teams got into a fight near the stadium, specifically near the Galerías shopping center. The events were recorded by a resident of the sector who shared the video on social networks.

The audiovisual record shows the moment when five young people wearing Santa Fe t-shirts confronted two other people wearing clothing alluding to Millonarios. In the scene, the young people are seen threatening each other with blunt objects and apparently with knives.

In the middle of the scene, in which it seemed imminent that someone would be injured, a group of police officers from the Galerias CAI, located a few blocks from the scene, burst in and broke up the confrontation. At the moment it is unknown if there are any arrests.

It should be remembered that this is not the first case of violence that has occurred regarding a match played at the El Campín stadium. On March 16, in the match between Santa Fe and Deportes Tolima, a confrontation occurred in the north stand of the stadium between fans of both teams. In the middle of the fight, chairs and other forceful elements were thrown, and they even tried to invade a sector of the playing field. The fight ended with the intervention of the police.

So far the District has not commented on the situation and it is expected that in the coming days measures will be announced to confront and stop violence in stadiums, as well as the penalties that those responsible will face and if there will be sanctions for the clubs, as usually happens. in these cases.
