The members of the sugar club made an important determination for the future.
During this Saturday the assembly of members of the Deportivo Cali and during it a historic determination was made regarding the future of the sugar club with an irregular present both institutionally and sportingly.
And at the associates’ meeting the conversion of the Valle del Cauca team to a public limited company was approved, a change that was accepted by 93.1% of the votes and 6.9% voted against.
This beginning of conversion means that the club could become owned by a single owner or a conglomerate of people. That is, the club, faced with the entry of an investor, can sell everything related to the club or some parts of the institution.
That said, from now on the club could analyze offers from investors, whether local or foreign, to relieve the coffers of the club, which is currently not at its best.
It is worth noting that the change of company name could last up to a year and a half and some of the club’s statutes could also be modified to make this decision a reality.
