With the Libertadores de América “Ricardo Enrique Bochini” stadium as a witness, Néstor Grindetti and Hugo Tocalli held a meeting in which the future work guidelines were established to continue with the club’s youth project.
It was a hectic week full of rumors and versions, the most drastic of which even indicated that Tocalli had resigned. However, as InfiernoRojo was able to confirm, that never happened, beyond discomfort over some unfulfilled promises from the leadership.
This face-to-face talk was precisely due to clarify the panorama and define the steps to follow in the youth area, key to the development of the institution’s raw material.
Tocalli, 76 years old, will continue to lead the Inferiores coordination on a day-to-day basis. There had been speculation about the possibility that he would take off some responsibilities to alleviate his tasks, but the coach and training specialist warned that he has energy, although he consulted about works on the property and issues to improve.
There will be a new manager on the property to deal with resolving daily situations. This is Claudio Ayala and he will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Dominico.
Then, Tocalli, who has a very good relationship with Carlos Tevez, witnessed the soccer training that took place between the first team and Pedro Monzón’s Reserve on Saturday morning.
