The young Mexican cyclist Isaac del Toro (UAE Emirates), 20 years old and leader of the Asturian round from start to finish, has been proclaimed winner of the 66th edition of the Vuelta a Asturias in a last stage that was from Benia de Onís and that his teammate, the New Zealander Finn Fisher-Black (UAE Emirates), won.
The last stage of the Vuelta a Asturias – the shortest of the three at 140 kilometers – began with a breakaway of up to five cyclists, in which there were four Spaniards Txomin Juaristi (Euskaltel-Euskadi), Hugo Aznar (Kern Pharma), Julen Amezqueta (Illes Balears-Arabay) and Eduardo Pérez-Landaluce (Sidi Ali-Unlock) and the Colombian Fernando Gaviria (Movistar).
