Alejandro Tabilo shouted champion this Sunday after win the Aix-en-Provence Challenger finalin France, against the Spanish Jaume Munar.
The national tennis player ratified his great campaign in the French competition and defeated the Hispanic with ease in two sets, by sets of 6-3 and 6-2in one hour and 24 minutes of play.
“Jano” won the seventh title of his career and the second this year, since last January he won the ATP 250 in Auckland. His other trophies were won in the Challengers of Brasilia (2023), Karlsruhe (2023), Francavilla (2023) and Guayaquil (2021 and 2023).

Alejandro Tabilo won the millionaire prize awarded to the Aix-en-Provence Challenger champion. He pocketed 30,330 euros, amount close to 30,542,000 Chilean pesos.
Furthermore, it made an important leap in the ATP ranking: He went up six squares and stayed in the place 32 of the world, the best position of his entire career.
Tabilo’s next challenge will be Rome Masters 1000, a tournament where he advanced directly to the second round for being one of the seeds, like Nicolás Jarry. This contest will take place between Wednesday, May 8 and Sunday, May 19.
