The American golfer Grayson Murraywinner of two trophies PGAdied this Saturday at the age of 30, the circuit reported without specifying the causes of death.

Murray, winner of the Sony Open played in Hawaii Last January, he had withdrawn from the Charles Schwab Challenge tournament in Fort Worth, Texas, during the second round on Friday due to an unspecified illness.

The commissioner said that he had spoken with the player’s parents to offer his condolences and that had been asked to continue the Charles Schwab Challenge tournament.

“They insisted that Grayson would want us to do it. As difficult as it may be, we want to respect his wishes,” she said.

Monahan was heading toward Fort Worth on Saturday and will share more information about the incident when possible, the PGA said.

Murray won his first PGA title in his rookie season of 2017, winning the Barbasol Championship. After several campaigns with discreet resultsthe American returned to winning ways in January at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
