Wilmar Roldán criticized journalists and sent them to read the regulations

Wilmar Roldan He is undoubtedly the best referee in Colombian soccer today and being in every game will always be a guarantee due to his extensive experience. For this reason, the center back was chosen to command the final first leg match between Bucaramanga and Santa Fe.

A few days before the grand final, Roldán spoke with Caracol Radio about this new final for his career, but he also called on journalists who criticize the refereeing of Colombian soccer, in light of the controversial decisions that took place during the semester, as well who invited the press to read the regulations better before issuing an opinion.

“It seems to me that they are a little excessive in their comments against arbitration. I see the work that Imer Machado does and I know that they make an effort so that we all learn.

Furthermore, he added: “one of the problems that I see in the press is that they have a very partial knowledge of the rules of the game and their interpretations. There you have to correct yourself and have knowledge about those rules that allow you to be able to impart a criterion on a situation. “Sometimes I hear situations that are not even written in the rules of the game and there is misinformation.”

For now, Wilmar Roldán will seek to have a good performance with his assistants, although being taught by his experience gives Bucaramanga and Santa Fe good guarantees to develop their respective game.
