– Many kids arrived with conditions that perhaps haven’t had as much filming. They are trying to earn a place, they work for that, the older ones try to support them in everything we can but hey, sporting contexts are also important and it costs a little more to make them stand out.
-What did you talk to him about after the game?
– I hope this is the beginning of something very good for him and for all of us. He scored a goal that is worth a lot, hopefully from this he can gain confidence, both he and the boys, to take this forward.
– It was an emotional moment, the hug at the goal…
– Yes, of course, we really needed to win. We are all suffering the same thing, we don’t like the situation we are in. We have played good games throughout the tournament and we have not been able to win, everything is uphill.
-What does it mean emotionally to him and the team?
– I think that in the hug and the kiss we saw what we have suffered these months, but they have the rebellion to get through it.
