PITTSBURGH — Manuel Margot hit an RBI triple to start a seven-run rally in the seventh inning and the Minnesota Twins ended a five-game losing streak with an 11-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday.

Dominican Margot opened the 10th with a triple to center field off Ben Heller (0-1), driving in automatic runner Kyle Farmer. Puerto Rican Willi Castro was hit by a pitch for the second time in the game, producing another run with the bases loaded and no outs. Dominican Carlos Santana drove in two more with a double to right before a two-run single by Carlos Correa and another single by Max Kepler made the score 11-4.

Heller, who hit three batters, has a 49.50 ERA.

Jhoan Durán (1-2) pitched the ninth perfect.

The Twins were dominated in the first two games in the three-game series after being swept in three games at Yankee Stadium. The Pirates finished a homestand 4-2 that included winning two of three against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
