David Benavidez and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis meet weight at weigh-in ceremony | TUDN Boxing

Benavidez had no problems setting the division limit with 174.2 pounds, the same as his Ukrainian rival. Oleksandr Gvozdyk, since due to his height he used to suffer a little to give the weight one division down. The nicknamed ‘Mexican Monster’ looked serene, calm and in good physical shape.

“You will see a much more destructive monster in the ring, I feel incredible, I can’t wait to delight the public with this fight, I’m going for the knockout,” Benavidez briefly stated at the microphone.

‘Tank’ Davis was the last fighter to step on the scale when it was Saturday night’s main event against his compatriot Frank Martin.

After Davis was absent from the Grand Arrival due to an unforeseen event and a day later he had words with his rival, the Baltimore native showed up at the weigh-in with an impeccable physique as his fans are used to.

Gervonta weighed 133.4 pounds, one less than his rival Martin, who also boasted great preparation for the contest that could change the course of his career if he surprised the favorite Tank with a victory.
