Junior has already made official the hiring of its first reinforcements to face what will be the next semester, in which their first objective will be to overcome the round of 16 of the Libertadores Cup in view of Colo-Colo and continue advancing in the international competition. Likewise, they will seek to reach the final of the Colombian League once again, based on a team full of great players and a process directed by Arturo Reyes that continues to add kilometers.

After the departure of Vladimir Hernandezand eventually Léider Berrío and Omar Albornoz, the club looked for players who could join the project to strengthen positions in which it has shown weaknesses. These are three young Valle del Cauca players who will contribute: Andrés Colorado, Yani Quintero and Jhon Lerma.

The new faces of Junior

The 25-year-old midfielder had his last experience at Necaxa in Mexico, a club for which he has been since July 2023 and for which he played 20 games in all competitions. For his part, the defender Yani Quintero, 21 years old, spent the last two years defending the colors of Bragantino of Brazil, for which he played 20 games with the first team and one with the U-23 team. He has also had a selection process Colombia Sub-17 and Sub-23.

Finally, John Lerma, 21 years old, he was in the Independiente del Valle portfolio, but the operation did not materialize. He was at Atlético Huila since mid-2022 and is now preparing to live his second experience at the professional level. He works as a right back and will be an ideal stimulus for Walmer Pacheco.

As it is, there are three young players who will contribute to Arturo Reyes and who will have to compete to earn a starting spot.
