Canada’s call for Copa América 2024: Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David lead the list | TUDN National Team Canada

The technical director Atiba Hutchinson decided to avoid any improvisation or surprise for the summer competition and, in this way, he will have his greatest references.

Alhpnso Davies, a Bayern Munich player, and Jonathan David, from Lille, are the elements that command the maple leaf squad for the Copa América 2024.

Canada is coming off a series of international friendlies in Europe in which it faced the Netherlands, number 7 in the FIFA rankings, and France, number 2.

After a 4:0 loss to the Dutch in Rotterdam, Canada recorded an impressive 0:0 draw against France in Bordeaux.

The North American team will open the Copa América 2024 against the current champion Argentina next Thursday, June 20.
