The Serbian ultras had a confrontation in the streets of Gelsenkirchen with a group of radicals, apparently Albanians, who attacked them hours before the Euro Cup match between the Serbs and England. In the images you can see a group of about 30 people respond violently to the attack they suffered using chairs. and all kinds of material from the restaurant in which they were.
Among the Serbs, Danilo Vucic, son of Alexsandar Vucic, president of the Serbian government, can be seen trying to get rid of his bodyguards to join the pitched battle in Gelsenkirchen. Danilo has previously been in the news for his links to Serbian ultras and extremist groups and the criminal underground.
The intervention of the German police, in cooperation with the Serbian and English police, allowed the events to not escalate. There were four detainees and two slightly injured, and the ultras were locked in the restaurant for two hours until they were identified and released.
At the door there was a car that looked official and could be Danil Vucic’s. The group was later escorted to the Gelsenkirchen stadium, where no further problems were reported.
